Some jobs need a date, not a clock time—and recurring service should finish one visit at a time.

Why we built it

Timed slots are wrong for “anytime today” work like storage checks or internal bay prep. All day appointments land in the ALL DAY row on Schedule so the team sees the day without a fake 9:00 AM start. Separately, completing one occurrence in a recurring series used to risk updating the whole template and making every future visit look done. The schedule now materializes a completed exception for the occurrence you actually finished and leaves the series parent scheduled, so tomorrow’s visits stay open.

What you can do

• Turn All day on in Create New Event—pick a date, skip time slots, and publish to the ALL DAY row.
• Open all-day events in day, week, and list views with a clear All day label instead of a misleading hour.
• Mark Complete (or finish a walkthrough) on one recurring occurrence; only that date closes while future dates stay scheduled.
• Keep using timed appointments when a customer or transporter has a real arrival window.

Use All day for plan-generated reminders and internal holds; use timed slots for arrivals and bay windows. When you finish this week’s recurring detail, complete that calendar cell normally—do not edit the series parent expecting every future week to flip at once.
